Year 4 Pupil to Run a Mile a Day to Raise Money for NHS
Over half term Year 4 pupil, Mia N, came up with the idea to run 26 miles in 26 days to raise money for the NHS.
Her first mile is today and by day 26 will have ran a whole marathon! Mia set up a fundraising page herself, wrote the description, chose and added the photos and then told her friends and family about her plan. She was inspired by the Year 8’s Virtual Climb of Everest and, since she watched the assembly, has been trying to work out what she would like to do to raise money.
Mia has nearly reached her £150 target and, to read more about her endeavour on her JustGiving page, click here.
Mia is committed to this challenge and even got up early this morning to complete the first mile. Best of luck with the remaining 25 miles Mia and we are so proud of the initiative you showed in deciding to challenge yourself.
