A Wonderful Weekend of Activities For Boarders!

After a delicious Full English Breakfast, Hazlegrove Boarders were treated to the fantastic “Dr Dolittle” at Yeovil Cineworld.

It was an action-packed and fun-filled adventure that had all of us laughing out loud. With the sun still out on our return, children made the most of bikes, scooters, balls and roller skates before settling down with staff to Joe’s legendary Sunday lunch. Making the most of the beautiful weather, we then stretched our legs with a walk down the drive. We all enjoyed seeing the cows, which are now back in the fields after their winter indoors!

Miss Aggett had a treat in store for the afternoon, with a Hazlegrove take on The Cube. Teams were sent to compete against one another in the Fitzjames classrooms, before we all watched the final two teams battle it out to become the winner. Letter writing and chapel, with its inspiring message about celebrating our strengths and learning from our weaknesses, finished the day, before children went in to a well-deserved supper.
