Hazlegrove Girls Win Bronze and Silver at National IAPS Judo

On Sunday 9 February, despite Storm Ciara sweeping across the UK – six Hazlegrove girls travelled to High Wycombe to take part in the National IAPS Girls Judo Finals. 

For some of our girls this was their first big Judo competition and despite a few early nerves, they all rose to the challenge. They were placed in different aged categories and Mr Gleeson, our school Judo coach, who met them there said:

“I was so impressed with their efforts.”

Hazlegrove won a bronze medal and four silvers – a fantastic result and well done to the girls.

Bronze – Poppy F
