Fame Lab fever hits Science Lessons
“Welcome to Fame Lab!”
There is a new ‘buzz’ of excitement around the school as pupils presenting and recording their own ‘Fame Lab’ videos.
‘Fame Lab’ videos are short 1 - 2-minute videos of pupils carrying out their own scientific experiments and investigations. There is a theme or challenge that is set each week and uploaded to HZG TV. Pupils then get creative and record themselves and friends investigating this, or another area of their own choosing, at home or around school and upload them to HZG TV.
The best videos are often shared in assembly and prizes are awarded.
So far there have been some very interesting and entertaining videos and we are looking forward to many more.
The whole point is for pupils (and staff) to have some fun and get involved with more scientific enquiry without the pressure and formality of a lab.
As Hazlegrove TV is just for Hazlegrove pupils, we will put our favourites onto our YouTube channel which can only be viewed via a secure link. Will H's experiment was shown in assembly recently and sums up the fun and creativity the children can have with Fame Lab.
Let’s get investigating!
