The French play, 'Ticket pour l’espace', was a hit with Year 5, 6 and 7

We were very fortunate to be visited today by Onatti Productions, who produce plays in foreign languages for schools. 

Years 5, 6 and 7 watched a fantastic performance of 'Ticket pour l’espace', a French and English play about a boy called Jack who wins a competition to travel into space.  The children were enthralled from beginning to end by the twists and turns of the story and amazed themselves at how much they were able to understand, through the clever use of language.  There was audience participation and some courageous volunteers stepped on stage to become part of the play themselves. 

It was a great opportunity for the children to hear and use language in the context of a story, for real purpose.
