A spectacular joint schools' concert at King's Bruton

A spectacular event took place at King’s Bruton yesterday evening with a joint concert pulling together all the musical talent of the middle and upper school from Hazlegrove. Alongside them were the older and more experienced musicians from King’s Bruton.

The concert was a treat for all; parents, teachers and most importantly – children. Every child performed confidently and to the very best of their ability, I was so proud of the Hazlegrove pupils as I watched them share their musicality with such generosity of spirit! Rapturous applause after every piece of music encouraged the children and created a wonderfully warm and exciting atmosphere.

I enjoyed the evening immensely and am extremely glad that the children did too as they left the Memorial Hall with beaming smiles and sense of achievement. Well done all!
