Year 4 visit Stonehenge
Year 4 made the short trip down the A303 to visit Stonehenge...
The (almost) midsummer sun shone on our visit which made the stones look stunning. The children questioned and wondered about the mystery surrounding this amazing ancient monument. We also enjoyed time exploring the new visitors’ centre and this year we had particular interest in the facilities on offer which we were evaluating as part of our work in Geography. We also thought about the impact of the road and traffic noise on the site and the plans for a tunnel to be built.
