Memories were made and experiences shared on the Year 7 River Dart trip

Our Year 7s have returned from a fabulous week at the River Dart Country Park.

They enjoyed a whole host of challenges, including abseiling, canoeing, caving, climbing, crate stacking, high ropes, kayaking and zip lining. The children had to learn how to manage their clothing on a wet and muddy activity week, which in itself was a challenge!

Learning to appreciate each other’s strengths, developing empathy and supporting each other to achieve individual and team goals the week certainly helped the year group bond. The shared experiences and memories will stay with them for their lifetimes.

How fortunate we all were to have these opportunities! The sun shone too!
