Year 3 enjoyed a wonderful day at Montacute House
Year 3 enjoyed a wonderful day at Montacute House. The children felt that they had stepped back in time and enjoyed hearing about Lord Phelips who built this beautiful home to enjoy in the holidays with his family and friends over 400 years ago.
The children were offered a range of exciting activities, either to write with a quill, dress up as Henry VIII and Elizabeth I or make lavender bags and explore herbs and spices used in the kitchen. The children asked very impressive questions and showcased their extensive Tudor knowledge as we toured around the house.
A stunning day, full of happy memories.
