A week of adrenaline inducing activities for Year 7...
Our Year 7s have just returned from another fabulous week at the River Dart Country Park where they have enjoyed a wide range of adrenaline inducing activities alongside opportunities to enjoy each other’s company in a different environment.
The week started with everyone getting very wet and muddy in the ‘Round Robin’ activity which is the traditional baptism to the River Dart. High ropes, crates, climbing and abseiling, alongside raft building, canoeing, kayaking and caving which then followed. Children grew in confidence and became brilliant team members, helping each other through every challenge and difficulty. It was fantastic to see! The evenings were just as energetic so it was a good job that we had plenty to eat. The puddings were particularly memorable!
All in all, it was a great week where new friendships were forged whilst the old were cemented; respect for each other grew and shared happy memories were had by all!
