Year 3 Explore Montacute House

Year 3 enjoyed an exciting day at Montacute House on Friday.

Despite the damp start to the day, it was magical! The children felt that they had stepped back in time and enjoyed hearing about Lord Phelips who built this beautiful home to enjoy in the holidays with his family and friends over 400 years ago.

The children were offered a range of exciting activities, either to write with quills and ink, make spice bags and explore herbs and spices used in the kitchen or dress up in Tudor clothes.

The children asked very impressive questions and showed off their Tudor knowledge as we were shown around the house.

A special day, full of happy memories.
