Our first ‘Who’s Who and What’s What’ History Quiz is a big hit

Lots of children took part in our first ‘Who’s Who and What’s What’ History Quiz.

Photographs were used from the recently published ‘The Colour of Time’ book. These photographs were originally monochrome and have been digitally colourised. This enables us, as historians, to better look afresh at this dramatic and formative age in human history (1850-1960).

It was wonderful to see so many children buzzing around the pictures, discussing ideas and trying to work out what was being shown. There were a great many pictures (35 in total) and this required the children to look at specific details in each one! There were many excellent answers, however in the end there were a clear three winners. Runners up were Aerin B-C (Year 6) and Caspar S (Year 8). While the overall winner was Freddie H-H (Year 8) with an amazing 30 correct answers!
