What a tremendous Cook Out year 3 had!

What a tremendous Cook Out year 3 had! The weather was amazing, the food was delicious and the company excellent.

After Outdoor Ed, where we were looking of signs of Summer, we had a quick snack and talked with the Year 8 pupils who were practising putting up their tents, ready for their leavers trip. We then headed off to the woods, under the parachute. Here we discussed fire safety and created bright posters, illustrating the do’s and don’ts of being around the camp fire. Once we all knew how to be safe, Mr Birch showed us how to cook our food; beans, potatoes and sausages. It was a feast to behold and we all loved it. For pudding we cooked a banana, stuffed with chocolate and marshmallows! We were all a bit sticky afterwards! We had such fun and it got us in the mood for our Year 4 Camp Out next year, we can’t wait!
