Victorian Day was a hugely enjoyable day and a real experience for the children
Year 4 came to school dressed as Victorian school children for their Victorian Day.
They started the day in the school room. The girls on one side and the boys on the other. The School Master was very stern and didn't stand for any nonsense! The children found it fun to write with ink pen and to use an abacus. After their lessons they went outside to play some Victorian games which they really enjoyed. Later in the day there was a whole array of Victorian items for them to try and guess what the function was. There were some interesting guesses.
A hugely enjoyable day and a real experience for the children.
