Year 3s test out their bows and arrows in the new art room
Year 3s today were the first ones to use the new extension room as we were trying to find a cooler room to work in than the workshop.
They had a competition to see who could design and make a bow and arrow to shoot the furthest distance across the new currently empty room. They took turns to shoot their arrows and wrote their names on the concrete where they landed. The names will be covered with the flooring that will be laid tomorrow, but we will know their names are under there for ever!!.
The child achieving the furthest distance won their very own DT made Hazlegrove bookmark.
