A very exciting day at the Bryanston DT Challenge!
16 teams competed at the Bryanston DT Challenge.
The day consisted of two challenges:
The first was to design and make a crash-car that would protect an egg down the "Ramp of Doom". Our car protected the egg down the ramp at 40 degrees but the egg broke at the bottom when it went down at 60 degrees.
The second challenge was to design and make the best overall vehicle focussing on accuracy and presentation of the vehicle, use of materials and complexity. Our Hazlegrove boys won this challenge!
Overall a very exciting day and we thoroughly enjoyed both challenges.
At the end of the day the boys made a wooden candle holder they could take home with them.
