Sports news round-up at half term

Hockey

We have enjoyed a great start to the hockey term with our 1st XI, U11a and b teams all unbeaten so far. We wish our Under 11 team good luck for the IAPS national qualifying tournament. All the boys at Hazlegrove can be pleased with their development in this sport.

Netball

This term has started very well with all girls representing the school in matches. Well done to our U13B team who finished as runners up in the recent Millfield Tournament.

Swimming

Congratulations to the swimmers, who competed last week at the Regional IAPS round at the Oxley Pool – we now have to wait to hear if anyone has qualified for the National IAPS Finals in May.

Biathlon

We have now had confirmation that 16 Hazlegrove children have qualified for the National Schools Finals to be held in the Easter holidays at the Olympic Park in London – well done and good luck.
