A Brilliant and Busy Easter Holidays of Sport

It has been a busy Easter holidays. The Hazlegrove children have been very busy taking part in a number of sporting opportunities:

The Yeovil Olympiads Open Athletics Meet saw a number of Hazlegrove athletes performing well as the athletics season gets under way

A number of children competed in the first events of the Biathle calendar: GB Series 1 and 2 Biathles. We were delighted that Arthur F, Zinzan S and Josh C all gained podium finishes

Hector D finished an amazing 21st in the Giant Slalom at the British Ski Championships in Tignes

Hazlegrove were asked to be the Guard of Honour at the Somerset Cricket One Day match against Kent on Good Friday. In front of a sell-out crowd of over 5000 people the children led the players out on to the pitch and enjoyed a superb day of cricket – made even better by a very convincing Somerset victory in glorious sunshine. 

Hazlegrove win the Schools National Show Jumping Championships. The team won the 75cm class overall, were the fastest team and were the only team to finish on a zero score. The team also achieved third place in the 85cm class. Emily W won the 95cm class as an individual - an amazing achievement. More information can be found here.
