Friends of Hazlegrove Quiz Night

A great night was had by all who attended the hotly contested annual Friends’ Quiz Night on Friday 26 February.

10 quiz teams were treated to 3 delicious curries, as well as brownies and cheese and a well-stocked bar. It was a competitive night with the score being kept a closely guarded secret until the very end. As well as the usual quiz rounds we had a film music round, photo round and a sensory identify the spice round.

Our brilliant quiz master Greg and his fantastic team who won the quiz last year did an exceptional job setting the quiz questions, marking answers and running the bar. After a seven round competition, only 20 points separated the top and bottom teams and On Y Va romped to victory with 85 points. The newly carved “Wooden Spoon Trophy” was handed out to the Early Birds.
