Our Boarders have been donning wetsuits in Dorset

Another terrific Sunday for the Hazlegrove Boarders! 

The day started brilliantly with a delicious full English breakfast to fuel us for the wet and wild day ahead. 

After loading up the coach and mini bus we made the journey down to Dorset. The senior girls were in fine voice and kept Mr Head and Mrs Kingsford very entertained with their singing. Luckily when we saw Corfe Castle rising up in the distance we knew we were close. 

After donning our wetsuits and listening to the safety briefing it was our time to enter the water park and go on the inflatables. Great fun was had by all slipping and sliding around and there were some awesome somersaults into the water. Mr Parker did well to stay on his feet and fend off everybody trying to push him in! 

Feeling exhausted after our hour on the inflatables, everybody was grateful to sit down and enjoy a picnic lunch before heading back to school. Unsurprisingly, the journey back was much quieter… 

The day ended with a lovely, thoughtful Chapel service from Mrs Hughes and a delicious roast dinner to set us up for the week ahead.
