Seedlings in the flower beds
A brisk Spring breeze greeted us this week on our return to school.
So many adventures great and small filled the air as we chatted about our Easter holidays. We plunged straight into our first topic about Wolves. The children have loved creating their own ending for a fictional story by Emily Gravett. They had to decide what happened to the Rabbit in the story and really enjoyed developing some dramatic storylines. The sunshine has enabled us to be out in the school grounds, watching seeds disperse across the grass and finding many sycamore seedlings in the flower beds. A very hands-on science lesson, which encouraged us to use our knowledge.
