Nursery Have Been Celebrating Hanukkah

This week in Nursery, we have been researching the Jewish celebration of Hanukkah.

The Dragonflies and Ladybirds looked at the story 'Hanukkah Bear' and watched a short video about how it is celebrated. Using hand and finger prints, the children created a beautiful menorah. The Butterflies looked at the story 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar's 8 nights of Chanukah’.  They then worked as a team to create a menorah using lollypop sticks, paint and material.
