Year 3 Study the Anglo Saxons

Year 3 have been very busy in the last two weeks in History jumping into a selection of activities to explore Anglo-Saxon society and culture.
A live Teams show and tell lesson gave the children the opportunity to share all of their super work and what they had found out.
This included designing and making jewellery , making warrior shields, writing rune messages and kennings, creating illuminated letters, baking traditional Anglo-Saxon recipes, and playing traditional board games like Capture the King.
Miss Rudd and Mrs Bartlett have been very impressed with Year 3's hard work.
