Year 2 handle artefacts from the time of the Crimean War and turn their hands to bandaging...
The life of a nurse during the time of Florence Nightingale was brought to life by an exciting workshop with Mr Stok for Year 2. The children were able to handle actual artefacts from the time of the Crimean War.
The hands on experience enabled the children to experience some of the horrors that happened in Victorian hospitals. The children had a go at being nurses bandaging each others wounds. Florence may not have approved of their methods!
